Tuffigo Rapidex is part of the Christien Défi industrial group, which comprises five other companies: Cidex Chaudronnerie, Cidex Composite, Plastigraf, Stibel CST and Sabel (Tunisia).
History and experience at your service

1954
Creation of Rapidex, a company specialising in livestock feed equipment
1992
Alain Christien (son of the founder) joins the company. Today, he is the company’s director and main shareholder.
2004
Market entry in plastic injection moulding by integrating this production within the Group with the acquisition of Plastigraf.
2006
Tuffigo (specialising in ventilation for livestock buildings) and its subsidiary Stibel are acquired. The aim of the merger was to develop synergies between the companies and offer a broader range of products.
2012
With the construction of a new plant in Treffendel (35), Cidex Composite has shown its determination to expand into new markets.
2022
Today, the Christien Défi group is a human-scale business with a presence in Europe (Spain, Poland, Belgium, etc.) and the rest of the world (Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia). It has managed to preserve its Breton roots and retain its family values in the interests of all its customers.
